Basic Education Access, Melga Woreda

This flagship education intervention provided quality basic education to over 3,800 out-of-school children across 4 kebeles of Melga woreda. Older children also received vocational skills training in embroidery and knitting, hairdressing, and candle making. Most graduates are now self-employed, and eight needy girls formed a self-help group to continue their education independently.
